Sarah Rendon joined the Stennis Institute in January 2026 as a Research Associate with a focus on community and economic development. Originally from Starkville, she is excited to serve the people of Mississippi and beyond. Sarah has a rooted optimism in the strength and capability of communities and believes that all should be given access to growth, security, and hope in the future.

Sarah graduated from Mississippi State University in 2023 with a degree in Communication and a minor in political science. She went on to receive a Master of Public Policy from Northeastern University in 2025. Sarah believes that no one is ever finished learning, so if you have a lesson to share, she's excited to listen!
