LeeAnn Funderburg is the Business Manager for The John C. Stennis Institute of Government and Community Development at Mississippi State University. She has been with The Stennis Institute since October of 2010.  Her workforce introduction began in her teens as an employee of a well-known ice cream chain. That two-year experience gave her the desire to pursue the benefits of higher education.  Since then, she has been a secretary for a legal firm, a customer service representative, a personnel manager for a manufacturing company, an office manager for a dental clinic, and in 1996 began her career as an employee of Mississippi State University. In her current role, she handles departmental purchasing, manages grants and contracts, and also monitors revenue and expenditures for the department to ensure control and compliance with funding and reporting requirements according to university policy.

LeeAnn has attended Blue Mountain College, The University of Memphis, and Mississippi State University. She lives in Cedar Bluff, Mississippi with her husband. They have three children and five grandchildren.
