Kaylin Vollenweider is a graduate of Mississippi State University with a Master of Science in Instructional Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology Services. Originally from Metairie, Louisiana, Kaylin began working with the Stennis Institute in 2023 as an Undergraduate Research Assistant before continuing as a Graduate Research Assistant and is now serving as an Intermittent Worker. Her work at Stennis focuses on applied research involving workforce trends, municipal compensation and benefits, recruitment and retention, organizational planning, and data analysis. She has contributed to research reports, publications, presentations, and data-driven projects designed to help Mississippi communities and public-sector leaders make informed decisions. Outside of Stennis, Kaylin is involved in Phi Kappa Phi, Epsilon Pi Tau, and the Association of Technology, Management and Applied Engineering. She is particularly interested in the intersection of technology, research, data visualization, and workforce development and enjoys finding ways to translate complex information into useful and accessible insights.
