Ava Abernathy is a Junior Political Science major from Brandon, Mississippi. She began working with the Stennis Institute in August 2026 as an undergraduate researcher. Ava is involved in Mississippi State’s Student Association, where she serves as a Campus-Wide Senator and Student Affairs Chair in the Senate. She also serves as Vice President of College Republicans and is an active member of the Stennis-Montgomery Association.
