Tim Tsai joined the Stennis Institute of Government in 2006 and oversees the support and implementation of the Institute's technical operations. Tim is Coordinator of the Management of Technology Services group at the Institute.

Prior to joining the Institute, Tim was involved with software development of GPS navigation systems for the precision farming industry, management of technical operations for Internet and Hosting Service Providers, and development of political campaign related software.

Tim's professional interests include embedded systems, GPS and location based services, computer networking, political campaign and election technologies, business process management, and e-government initiatives.

Tim holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Mississippi State University and an M.S. in Computer Science from New York University. Tim is currently pursuing a PhD in Public Policy and Administration.
