Rural People, Rural Policy - Kellogg Foundation:

The Institute was selected and provided funding by the Kellogg Foundation to engage in a five-year national program that brings together 24 organizations from across the United States. This initiative is intended to expand to 125 organizations to create a national network of organizations and service organizations working to provide leadership in the development of economic and social policies that impact rural America. The Stennis Institute was selected for participation in the RPRP Initiative due to its work in civic capacity development throughout the state of Mississippi. Stennis Institute members of the Initiative attend four annual RPRP national conferences to engage in public policy planning workshops.
