Education Policy Fellowship Program

Education Policy Fellowship Program (EPFP)

Program Overview

The Education Policy Fellowship Program (EPFP) is a 10-month in-service leadership development program sponsored by the Institute for Educational Leadership (IEL) in partnership with multiple state site programs across the country. The John C. Stennis Institute is the primary Institute responsible for the Mississippi and Alabama cohort of the EPFP. The Institute combines the expertise of its diverse staff and direct funding from the University to provide the facilitation and coordination of the EPFP.

Policy

Fellows learn about specific policy issues, policy-making and implementation processes, the interface of local, state, and national policies, and the practices effective leaders use to function in the policy environment.
