Judith's work at the John C. Stennis Institute began six years ago when she moved from her position as the Director of the Small Business Development Initiative at the College of Business, Office of External Affairs. She completed her M.B.A. and doctoral studies at Mississippi State University’s College of Business, with an emphasis on Marketing and minors in Statistics and Economics. Her credentials include seven years of teaching experience in Statistics, Marketing Management, Consumer Behavior, International Marketing, Retail Management, Sales Management, Business Communications, and Personal Selling at MSU’s main campus and Meridian campus and has taught Business Law and Real Estate Law at regional community colleges. In additional to extensive research activities at the Institute, she provides technical assistance in strategic planning and economic development to communities throughout Mississippi. She is a member of the Kellogg Foundation’s Rural People Rural Policy National Initiative and a member of the Mississippi State Legislature’s Special Task Force for Revitalization of the Mississippi Delta.
